Week 4: Run..Run...

Posted by Falcao | Friday, August 31, 2007

This is my line up for week 4. Major changes only made in defence and goalkeeper. I still believe my midfield can deliver good point this week. There are four players playing away fixtures, and still no super players in my line up. Hopefully Tevez can make something different, and Nani will again being a good player in assist and moving forward for goal.

After 3 weeks, I still on top of my private league. This is the third season I am playing Yahoo! Fantasy Football, and I am still in learning curve. For me, the important thing in playing this game is to make analysis of player performance. On the other side, it is luck.

MALAYSIA JUARA PESTABOLA MERDEKA
Seronok sungguh tgk final mlm tadi. Akhirnya Malaysia mampu jadi juara.
Myanmar jadi mangsa.

ROMBONGAN KE SABAH
Kepada penyokong Perak yg nak pergi Sabah boleh la menempah tiket kapal terbang anda sendiri. Hotel pun booking le sendiri. Hehehe.

Komen-komen penyokong perak :
Sham lebam, "Teman yakin perak bole masuk final"
Yusri, "Ke Bukit Jalil le kita tahun ni"
Azman, "Aku tak minat liga malaysia. Sorry"
Adli, "Jai idola ku"

Apa komen anda pula?

Ronaldinho vs C.Ronaldo

Posted by Falcao | Tuesday, August 21, 2007

I like the way both of them play. It's truly the art of football. Ronaldinho seems to be faded last season, unable to help Barca defend La Liga title and also losing Champions League crown. But for the golden boy of Man Utd; Ronaldo bring a lot of excitement in English Premier League.

I am eager to wait for La Liga to start. EPL already shown early excitement of new season, and defending champion; Man Utd still not win the game and they are missing Ronaldo for 3 matches.

Fernando Torres Goal Against Chelsea

Posted by Falcao | Tuesday, August 21, 2007

Fluid moves from the half of the pitch and clinical finish from Torres.

Is Rafa investment really worth?

Devil May Cry?

Posted by Falcao | Monday, August 20, 2007

It's the worst ever start by the defending champion, Man Utd. Losing four points form three games. They dominated most of the game possession and got all the corner kicks, but the sting of finishing is not there. And the beautiful deflected strike by Geovanni demolished the champion. Carlitos Tevez is not really a target man; he can play better as supporting striker or maybe he still yet to adapt to Utd playing style. There are a lot of crosses by the flanks that should be converted to goal, but credit also given to City defender and their goalkeeper.

Good to see Owen Hargreaves filled the gap as defensive midfielder and Michael Carrick should move forward to help faded Paul Scholes.

Just wondering what are the next steps from Sir Alex. They should realize all the team in the league are getting better. They lost Rooney for two months and Ronaldo for three match; golden boys for United last season seems not showing their character yet.

The question is, can United bounce back or keeping fading in the most competitive football league in the world?

For the love of the game...

Posted by Falcao | Sunday, August 19, 2007

After few months not playing football and because of the desperation that I want to play the game I like the most, yesterday my colleague and I playing an open futsal tournament. You know what will happen when you are not playing for such a long time. All the footwork and tactical moves went really messy and we lost the entire matches. Nothing to lose as we all agrees to play for fun.

For me football is about training and training everyday. When you love football, you always be with the ball wherever you are. Football is your life, and the passion is in your heart. It was so hard these few months back, my new working life make me difficult to spend my time for what I want; playing football, watching football matches and etc. And for the love of the game; I come out with this blog.

I just want to write what I want about my favourite game, football.

Cheers!!!

Week 2: The real challenge begins

Posted by Falcao | Friday, August 17, 2007

This is my picks for this week, I think it's a final picks since I won't be able to access Internet this few days.

Not much changes, but I've lost Ronaldo due to red carded during mid week games against Portsmouth. So I pick Arteta to fill the gaps in my midfield.

Tevez is the new pick, he is strong but I am not too depend to him to get the point since this week is a Manchester derby match. I believe Citeh will give hard fight. They have mastermind of Sven Goran Erikson, and also few good summer signing such as Elano and Petrov.

Anelka, Tevez, Bianchi

Arteta, Koumas, Malouda, Nani

Baird, Jagielka, Vidic

Robinson

I still trust Robinson in keeper even though I realize most manager turn to Kirkland and Gordon.

Wish me luck. I hope to be the top of my private league again this week.

Goal of Week: Steven Gerrard

Posted by Falcao | Tuesday, August 14, 2007

This is my pick of Goal of the Week from Steven Gerrard. His curling freekick in dying minutes was magnificent. I miss this type of freekick especially masterpiece of David Beckham. And now, Gerrard can do it. This is the beauty of curling freekick at the top corner.

I vote for Gerrard, what is your pick?

Welcome to new season of Yahoo Fantasy Football (YFF)

This is line-up for Parit Selikur this week.

Anelka
Berbatov
Bianchi

Ronaldo
Koumas
Malouda
Nani

Kaboul
Jagielka
Vidic

Robinson

I think this is moderate team. I have Berbatov, Koumas and Jagielka as a top picks in their respective position, plus they are cheap. We will see what Ronaldo have this season, will he become the top player again??

I still remember when I first start playing YFF, my friend always have the top player all season such as Henry and Lampard. Last season I got Ronaldo all season and his contribution was good enough for my team.

So, feel free to comment.

Let's the game begin.

Panna Movie from PannaPennotti

Posted by Falcao | Thursday, August 09, 2007

This is one of my favorite video. I almost complete my lesson learn from this video. :)
Skills show in this video is quit simple and it can be applied in street football and futsal. In my opinion fast movement and to be cool is the key element in executing those skills. Then, you'll find the right moves which suit yourself.

For me, this is very good season opener for both team. Very nice goal from Ryan Giggs and Florent Malouda. I believe Malouda and Ben Haim is worth summer signing for Chelsea. The only new signing on the pitch for Man Utd yesterday was Nani. I just wait for a moment he score and do a backflip. Hopefully, we can see many more action in English Premier League (EPL) this season.

My first video, beginner's way
